CULLMAN, Ala. – Cullman City Schools students will return Wednesday, Aug. 11 for the start of the 2021-2022 school year. On Friday, Aug. 13, all Cullman City students will be dismissed two hours early to prevent school traffic from interfering with the traffic associated with Rock the South.
Cullman City Schools Superintendent Kyle Kallhoff shared, “With traffic from the Rock the South music festival expected to bring thousands of visitors to Cullman next week, we felt it was in the best interest of students and families to dismiss early on Friday to prevent the festival traffic from interfering with traffic patterns from school dismissals. We apologize in advance for the inconvenience this may cause for families and students, but feel it is the most prudent option.”
Cullman City Students will resume their normal schedules Monday, Aug. 16.
