Anthony Terrell Haynes, 65, of Huntsville, passed away on August 4, 2021. He was born November 11, 1955, in Cullman to Troy Eugene and Betty Sue Shedd Haynes.
Mr. Haynes was the Senior Pastor at Covenant Life Revival Church. He was an engineer for many years and he liked to work with computers. Anthony enjoyed reading and he loved to travel. Mr. Haynes served our country honorable in the United States Air Force. Anthony also loved animals and would have taken every animal as a pet.
Mr. Haynes was loved greatly, and he will be missed greatly.
Mr. Haynes is preceded in death by his parents: Troy and Betty (Shedd) Haynes; grandparents: Peirson and Desmer (Earl) Haynes and Vinis and Dessie (Hale) Shedd and a host of uncles and aunts.
He is survived by his wife: Sharon Kay (Oldaker) Haynes; sister: Sheila Hunt; uncle: Bobby Ray and Barbara Faye (Dobson) Shedd and a host of cousins and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Haynes are 2 p.m., Sunday, August 8, 2021, in the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Ivy and Rev. Carl Malin officiating. Burial will follow in Roswell Creek Cemetery where Sam Phillips, Stanley Batemon, Ronnie Sparks, Carroll Skipworth, Jack Russell and Chris Shedd will serve as pallbearers. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday evening, August 7, 2021, here at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
