Mrs. Wood passed away Saturday, July 31, 2021 at her residence. She was born August 22, 1923 to L.L. and Josephine Clara Thompson. She was a lifelong member of Faith Baptist Church. She loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Erskine Patrick Wood; son-in-law: Clifford Ray Thornton; grandson: Chris Harper and brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her daughters: Pat Thornton, Sharron (Robert) Harper, Susan (Bobby) Aldridge and Donna Wood; grandchildren: Autumn (Chad) Patterson, Jerrid (Shanna) Thornton, Steve Harper, Cindy (Thomas) Humphries and Ben Aldridge; great-grandchildren: J.C. Patterson, Max Patterson, Caleb Thornton, Chloe Harper, Mary Emma Harper, June and Georgia Humphries and family and friends.
