HOLLY POND, Ala. – The Town of Holly Pond will be hosting a Back-to-School Bash to kick off the new school year Aug. 7. The Bash will be held at Lions Club Park at 221 Lions Park Road in Holly Pond, and will be from 5-7 p.m.
With access to inflatables, children’s train rides, face painting, balloon animals and carnival games, there is sure to be limitless fun for children of all ages. There will also be live music by Jesse Priest, an opportunity to meet fall athletes and other booth options such as Frios Popsicles, door prizes, concessions, family support services and back-to-school information.
When asked what this event means to Holly Pond High School Principal Steve Miller and the community, he shared, “It is about getting pride back in our school from all that we all had go through last year, and just looking forward to the new school year. We wanted a time where people could come out and get together, and really enjoy being a part of the community and being a part of Holly Pond.”
