Myrtis Marie Widner, age 96, of Cullman, Alabama passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021. Myrtis was born September 5, 1924 to Buster and Elizabeth Lucinda Jones Reynolds.
Myrtis is survived by daughter: Debra Watters (Joey); sons: Wayne Widner (Deborah) and Milton Widner (Joyce); chosen daughter: Jewel Dean Hunter; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Myrtis was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years: Oather Buck Widner; parents; sisters: Vonda Lee Franklin, Montez Paschal and Jewel Smith; and brothers: Herbert, Hershel, Homer, Hobert and Hubert Reynolds.
A visitation for Myrtis will be held Tuesday, July 20, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home with a celebration of life funeral service to follow the visitation. Interment will be at Good Hope Cemetery.
