Funeral service for Horris C. Hudgins, 97, of Hartselle, will be at 2 p.m., Monday, July 19th, 2021 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Lawrence’s Cove Cemetery and Rev. James Abbott officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, July 18, from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. and on Monday from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.

Mr. Hudgins passed away Friday, July 16, 2021 at Falkville Health & Rehab. He was born December 26, 1923 to George Gilbert and Dora Minnie Moore Hudgins. He was an active member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church and he loved to fish.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife: Laverne Hudgins; brother: Edward Hudgins; infant brother: J.L. Hudgins and sisters: Peggy McKee, Irene McKee and Christine Kenney.
Survivors include his daughter: Shelia (Larry) Howlett; sister: Josephine Nuby; grandson: Kevin (Sandra) Howlett; great-grandson: Lukas Howlett; nieces, nephews, family and friends.
