Mr. Jon Carlos Betts Sr. of Hanceville, Alabama passed away July 13, 2021 at the age of 77. He was born July 22, 1943 in Michigan to Alfred Victor and Margo VanBeverslay Betts.
He is preceded in death by his parents; infant brother: Jonathan Betts and grandchildren: Brody and Lane Betts.
Mr. Betts was a forester and he worked for North Alabama Forest Products until his retirement.
Funeral services are Sunday, July 18, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Moss Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. F. Todd Henderson officiating. Interment will follow services in Cullman City Cemetery. Survivors are wife: Sandra Phillips Betts; sons: Jon C. “Jay” Betts Jr. and wife Melissa, Christopher T. Betts and wife Tomeka, Craig A. Betts and wife Kelly; sister: Jocelyn Betts Prevost and husband Robert; brothers: Joel Betts and wife Arlene, Jeri Betts and wife Patty; grandchildren: Hunter Betts, Jon Betts III, Braxton Betts, Carrie Betts, Landon Betts and Madison Betts.
Visitation is Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Moss Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
