Graveside service for James Verbon Stidham, 88, of Vinemont will be 10 a.m., Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Flint Creek Baptist Cemetery in Vinemont, AL. Reverend Steve Rodgers will officiate the service.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Stidham passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at his residence. He was born August 2, 1932 to George Reuben and Laura Gertrude Burks Stidham. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a paratrooper.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife: Montez Oden Stidham and a brother: Herbert Stidham.
Survivors include a son: Jerome (Patti) Stidham; daughter: Cindy Ann Stidham; sisters: Marie, Kathy and Hazel; sister-in-law: Genevieve Steele; grandchildren: Dr. Jeremy (Dr. Katie) Stidham, Dr. Jonathan (Courtney, JD) Stidham, John Stark and Jay Stark; four great-grandchildren: Benjamin, Madeline, Evelyn and Eleanor and a host of family and friends.
