CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman County Public Library has an absolute abundance of books and this week, they have begun selling them to the public by the bag. Often, the library acquires so many books that it ends up with duplicates, or the book’s binding is not sturdy enough to be circulated. Though these can be unfortunate circumstances, this does not mean these wonderful books lose their value!

To help distribute these shelves of book, the library is selling bags for $3 that can be filled with as many books as will fit. Those interested may stop by the library’s front desk to purchase their bag. The book sale began Monday and will continue for as long as there is a supply of books to be rehomed.

Make plans to stop by Cullman County Public Library soon to explore the shelves and stock up on books, specially selected by your wonderful local librarians!

“Books are what you step on to take you to a higher shelf. The higher your stack of books, the higher the shelf you can reach. Want to reach higher? Stack some more books under your feet! Reading is what brings us to new knowledge. It opens new doors. It helps us understand memories. It lets us hear from successful people. Reading is what takes us down the road in our journey. Everything you need for a better future and success has already been written.” – Jim Rohn
