Funeral Service for Thomas Jerome Smith, age 57, of Cullman, will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 17, 2021, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home, with the burial at Cullman City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.

Mr. Smith passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021, at Cullman Regional. He was born September 6, 1963, in Goldsboro, NC, to Howard and Leona Smith.
He worked many years in the Wastewater Industry and retired from the City of Cullman as Assistant Superintendent of the Wastewater Treatment Plant. He continued his career as a wastewater supervisor with Hanceville City Water and Sewer Board.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife: Sherry Smith; son: Shane (Tabatha) Smith; brother: Michael (Kathy) Smith; nephews: Wesley Smith and Wade (Megan) Smith; great-nephew: Moses Wyatt Smith; brother-in-law: Ricky Fleming and a host of extended family and friends.
