Barbara Ann Sword, of Valdosta, Georgia passed away May 28, 2021 at the age 70. She was born March 1, 1951 in Cullman to Alford and Flora Russell Burks.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sister: Mary Snider Taylor and brothers: William Alford Burks, John Edmond Burks, Carl Henry Burks Sr. and Robert Lee Burks.
Funeral services are Thursday June 3, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Moss Funeral Home Chapel with interment following services in Good Hope Cemetery.
Survivors are husband: Danny Eugene Sword; daughter: Dana Whitehead; sons: Heath Whitehead and Keith Whitehead; sisters: Frances Gutenschwager, Ruby (Gary) Cloer and Maybell (Ricky) Greer; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other family.
