CULLMAN, Ala. — Cullman Regional welcomes board-certified family physician Donald Battle, MD, to the Cullman Regional Medical Group. Dr. Battle is a graduate of Emory University in Atlanta and completed medical school at the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, Virginia. He completed his post-doctoral training through Duke University and the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Battle has previously provided care for patients in the Birmingham area and has more than 20 years of experience and training in occupational medicine.
As an occupational medicine physician, Dr. Battle specializes in the treatment of work-related injuries and illnesses.
Dr. Battle will be treating patients in Cullman Regional’s Occupational Health Clinic, WorkMD. Services provided through WorkMD include:
• Work-related injury treatment
• DOT physicals
• Pre-employment physicals
• Return-to-work physicals
• Drug screen collection
• Breath alcohol testing (BAT)
• Spirometry
• Audiology
• On-site services
• After-hours care through Cullman Regional’s Emergency Department

Dr. Battle and his wife Stephanie have two children and a dog, Rambo. In his spare time, he enjoys participating in church activities, reading, personal fitness and is a fan of team sports.
