Margaret Maxine Comeens, 89, of Double Springs, Alabama entered into rest on May 27, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Comeens was born on January 23, 1932.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2021 from noon – 1 p.m. at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Haleyville, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Brother Dennis Stewart and Brother Terry Bendall will officiate. Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery in Haleyville, Alabama.
Maxine is survived by her daughter: Deborah Commens Townsend (Jerry); her son: Randall Offie Comeens (Barbara); her grandchildren: Jason Townsend (Laura), Michelle Robins (John), Lindsey Fralix (Steven), and Jesse Comeens (Alisha); nine great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and her sister: Gail Cagle.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Herbert and Elvie Batchelor; her husband: Offie Willard Comeens; her brothers: Alvin and Ray Batchelor; brother-in-law: Blaine Cagle and her sister-in-law: Reba Batchelor.
