CULLMAN, Ala. – Ashley Wilson started her new job on Tuesday, May 25. Her charitable clothing and accessory boutique Curt’s Closet started new business hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday – Friday, and Wilson took the helm as its first full-time staffer.

Wilson told The Tribune, “We have needed a full-time employee here for a while now. During Curt’s Closet’s last board meeting, the members approved this position. Curt’s Closet will now be able to serve more families during the week. This will also allow our supporters to drop off donations here. We will still have our drop off locations, but some people prefer to drop off at Curt’s Closet.

“Also, being able to serve families in emergency situations is huge. Before, I would have to leave my job or contact a volunteer to serve these families. Being full-time, I will be able to get items to Victim Services, house fire victims and foster families when needed.

“I have prayed about this for a very long time. God kept showing me it was in His plans. I am truly thankful to be able to serve these families in a more efficient way, on a full-time basis.”

Curt’s Closet is located at 1103 3rd Ave. SE in Cullman. To donate, volunteer or seek assistance, visit https://www.facebook.com/cw20curtscloset/ or call 256-735-4557.
