Graveside service for Vonda Lee Milligan Calvert will be on Friday, May 28, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Prospect Church of Christ Cemetery with Bill Hall officiating. Visitation will be at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Vonda Lee Milligan Calvert, “Mama Calvert” to all the people who loved her, was born on December 9, 1930. She died at her residence on May 25, 2021, at age 90. She was a faithful member of Wheeler’s Grove Church of Christ for the majority of her life.
She was preceded in death by husband: Ray Eugene Calvert; father: Clayton Milligan; mother: Flora McSwain Milligan; brother: Levon Milligan and sister: Bobbi Milligan Pasco.
Vonda Lee’s survivors include her children: Teddy Ray Calvert, Glenn Eugene (Joan) Calvert, Teresa Diane (Aaron) Griffith and Cecilia Danita Blocker; grandchildren: Jeremy (Julie) Calvert, Beth (Jeremy) Ferrell, Ryan Bass, Charlie (Adrian) Calvert; Lindsey (Bryan) Taylor and Wade (Cheyenne) Griffith and great-grandchildren: James Calvert, Peyton Bass, Parker Bass, Jack Bass, Rylee Taylor, Levi Davis, Carson Ferrell, Jennie Calvert, Juliana Calvert and Tucker Griffith.
Pallbearers include Charlie Calvert, Peyton Bass, Bryan Taylor, Jeremy Calvert, James Calvert and Jeremy Ferrell.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Dorothy O’Bara, Adrian Calvert, Rhonda Kolhs and Doris Williamson.
