DODGE CITY, Ala. – Dodge City Mayor Tawana Canada announced Thursday afternoon that new playground equipment for Ray Park near Town Hall will be installed on Friday, and that the Town of Dodge City will sponsor a family day at the park on Saturday, May 15, 2021 starting at 10 a.m.
Mayor Canada told The Tribune, “We’re planning to unveil our playground equipment. We’re going to have a kids’ day in the park to do that, from 10 a.m. till 4 p.m. We’ll have free hot dogs and drinks and chips for everybody-–not just the kids-–but we are having some prizes for the children.”
Ray Park is located at the end of Howard Circle past Dodge City Town Hall.
