CULLMAN, Ala. – St. Paul’s Alumni and Friends Dinner and School Auction is their largest fundraiser of the year. It is a fantastic evening filled with nostalgia and fellowship among parents, alumni and friends. The school is incredibly grateful to all the giving hearts in the community who have donated fantastic items for the silent and live auctions. These include: Charm on 2nd, Doug Doggett Jewelers, Ed White Jewelers, Buettner Brothers, Borden Market Shop, Greenlee Woodworks, Vans Sporting Goods, Terri Pines, Village Furniture and Gifts, Cullman Florist and all the businesses in the Warehouse District. They also received a very special donation of a vintage medical canister set that was used by beloved pediatrician Dr. Bownes. Fantastic trips have been donated as well! The sixth–grade class put together an awesome road trip basket that includes all you need for a long car ride, plus family passes to the Mobile Exploreum’s Cosmos exhibit featuring NASA artifacts. A Carnival Cruise from Mobile to Cozumel is also up for grabs, as well as a getaway to Gatlinburg.
During the dinner, St. Paul’s Alumnus Michael Heatherly will be presented with the Impact award for his work with GM1 Research Fundraising. This will be a touching tribute to the Heatherly family and their son, Porter, who suffered from GM1.
The evening is set to get underway at 5 p.m. at Seasoned Catering. There are less than 20 spots still available and tickets will not be available at the door. You can purchase online at www.stpaulscullman.com or contact Emily Trahan at emilytrahan@stpaulscullman.com
