CULLMAN, Ala. – Cullman Parks, Recreation and Sports Tourism (CPRST) announced that its 7–12-year-old girls’ volleyball league, slated to play in May and June, has rescheduled the season to August through October, and extended registration into June in hopes of encouraging more players to return to CPRST team sports after last year’s COVID-related league cancellations.
CPRST athletic director Ashley Dye wrote, “We are excited to announce that volleyball is back! I am hopeful that extending registration through June 18 and moving the season back will give everyone more of an opportunity to play. We are transitioning back to a late spring/fall season. I can’t wait to see all of our girls and get this season going. The CPRST Athletics department has been working diligently to improve and streamline programs; we are growing, and it is an exciting thing to see!”
