CULLMAN, Ala. – After last year’s quarantined Easter, this year’s festivities should be a welcome return to many of the Easter traditions we hold so dear. Celebrate by grabbing your Easter baskets and joining one of the many fun Easter egg hunts planned in Cullman County and surrounding areas this weekend.
Glow Arab- Glow in the Dark Easter Egg Hunt
When: Friday, April 2 at 7:30 p.m.
Where: Arab Soccer Fields Plaza Dr. NW
This fun event is hosted by the Arab Parks & Recreation and is free of charge.
Sportsman Lake Park Easter Egg Hunt
When: Saturday, April 3 from 9-10 a.m.
Where: Sportsman Lake Park
This egg hunt will have separate hunting areas for different age groups and plenty to do in the park once kids have gathered all their eggs. The Easter Bunny will also be at the park taking pictures with the kids. For $5, you can get your picture with a festive Easter souvenir frame.
Come and Go Easter Egg Hunt
When: Saturday, April 3 from 9-11 a.m.
Where: Arab City Park
Hosted by the Arab First Baptist Church, this free event will have candy, balloon artist, face painting, snacks, games and much more.
Helicopter Egg Drop
When: Saturday, April 3 from 9 a.m.-noon
Where: Daystar Church Hartselle Campus
Attendees are asked to pre-register for this event by visiting www.daystarchurch.tv/eggdrop.
Pre-registration closes at 5 p.m. Friday, April 2. With a large crowd expected, pre-registration is expected to help lines move faster. Different age groups’ egg hunts will be at different times with ages 0-3 and special needs at 9:30 a.m., ages 4-7 at 10 a.m., and ages 8 and older at 10:30 a.m. There will also be inflatables, face-painting, prizes and more.
Easter Egg Hunt- Center Grove Baptist Church
When: Saturday, April 3 at 11 a.m.
Where: Center Grove Baptist Church, 4607 County Road 1545, Cullman
This free event will feature an Easter Egg hunt and lunch afterward.
Renovation Church Eggstravaganza 2021
When: Saturday, April 3, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Where: Renovation Church, 14142 Alabama Highway 157, West Point
Renovation Church has 10,000 eggs ready for this year’s hunt. Stick around afterward for some fun inflatables, face-painting and food! This event is free.
Holly Pond Easter Egg Hunt
When: 2 p.m. Saturday, April 3
Where: Governors Park in Holly Pond
The Holly Pond Easter Egg hunt will have separate hunts for the younger and older kids. The Easter Bunny will be on-site taking pictures with the children at the park’s gazebo.
Priceville’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt
When: 2 p.m. Saturday, April 3
Where: Veteran’ Park in Priceville
This event is hosted by the City of Priceville and Sam Heflin and sponsored by the City of Priceville Parks and Recreation Board and the city council. The Easter Bunny will be arriving at the park Saturday to help hide the 4,000 eggs (he is an expert after all). Among the 4,000 candy-filled Easter eggs, 400 of them will be $1 prize eggs! The egg hunt will be split into four different age groups: 0-2 at the gazebo, 3-4 at the small ballfield, 5-7 at the large ballfield, and 8-10 will gather behind the small field on the right field side.
Flashlight Scavenger Hunt (Easter Event)
When: Saturday, April 3 from 5-8 p.m.
Where: Glory Fellowship Baptist Church 175 Cordova Cut Off Road, Jasper
This event is for ages preschool-sixth grade. This flashlight scavenger hunt will be fun for the kids as they learn about Jesus and the resurrection. There will also be bouncy houses and food trucks.
The Colony Presents: The Easter Egg Hunt
When: Sunday, April 4 from 2-5 p.m.
Where: Colony Community Center, 538 Colony Road, Hanceville
This is an inaugural event for the town of Colony. The egg hunt will begin at 3 p.m. followed by free food and beverages for the children and fellowship.
