CULLMAN, Ala. – March is the Month of Giving and this Wednesday, March 31, Cullman’s Jersey Mike’s Subs will be donating 100% of the day’s sales to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Alabama.
Jersey Mike’s Assistant Manager Nathaniel Coker said, “We don’t get anything. It all goes to Make-A-Wish as part of our Day of Giving.”
This is not the first year Jersey Mike’s has participated in Month of Giving.
”Last year, I can’t remember how much we made, but we made quite a lot for them,” said Coker. “It is something Jersey Mike’s tries to do every year.”
In addition to donating all of Wednesday’s sales to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the sub shop will have options of adding $1, $3 or $5 donations for those who choose to give more. Throughout the month of March, customers will have the option to round up their totals to the nearest dollar amount, with the difference being donated to the foundation as well.
“We’ve done a couple of other things for other local charities like Cullman Caring for Kids. We’ve done partnerships with them before. As for this, every year Jersey Mike’s chooses Make-A-Wish as their chosen charity,” Coker added.
Jersey Mike’s is open from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. and located at 1850 Cherokee Ave. SW in Cullman. Call-in and curbside pickup are also available.
Jersey Mike’s hopes for a big crowd Wednesday and plans on having reinforcements come on-hand to help handle the increased customer volume.
