Benjamin Clyde Gillilan, age 26, of Vestavia Hills, Alabama passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021. Benjamin was born July 5, 1994 in Cullman, Alabama to Wendy Malin Gillilan and Margarito Mendoza.
Benjamin is survived by mother: Wendy Malin Gillilan; sisters: Darla (Eric) Gillilan, Felisha (Steven) McDonald, Mary Mendoza, Xochitl Mendoza, Beatriz Mendoza; brothers: Cody (Robin) Gillilan, Victorio Mendoza, Gabriel Gillian, Zackarias (Kela) Gillilan; grandparents: Bill and Martha Malin, Victorio Mendoza and Maria Acuna; nieces and nephews: Preston, Ethan, Jasmine, Dameon, Chase, Julian, Annabelle, Caitlyn, Madison, Kelsey, Erica, Noah, Paula, Allison, Jonah, Elijah and Leelan.
Benjamin was preceded in death by his father: Margarito Mendoza and brother: Irie Eli Gillilan.
Benjamin was a 2012 Graduate of Holly Pond High School. He loved to travel, loved his family and loved his friends.
A celebration of life visitation for Benjamin will be held Sunday, March 28, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A celebration of life memorial service will occur at The Refuge Church of God on Friday, April 2, 2021 at 12:00 PM.
