Del Mason Brock, 79, passed away at his home in Cullman, Alabama on March 8, 2021.

Del was born on July 25, 1941 to Barney and Lee Mason Brock in Oakland, California.

Del graduated Cullman High School in 1960 and Harding College in 1964. He was blessed with a deep bass voice and toured with the Belles & Beaus at Harding College where he also played football on a scholarship.

After college, he taught and coached football at Cullman High School for several years. Del and his father established the Brock Miracle Egg Farm in 1979.

Del’s life was shaped by his parents’ years serving at Childhaven.

His most significant years and passion were his work for the Lord. He taught a young adult class and was a song leader at the Cullman Church of Christ for decades. He also served as an Elder.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sheila Mitchell Brock; two children, son Nate (Elizabeth) Brock; daughter Kelly Brock (Tony) Shadix; five grandchildren: Arden Brock, Luke Brock, Brock (Nicole) Shadix, Noah Shadix, and Kathryn Shadix; two great-grandchildren; and sister Wrenda (Roger) Humphrey.
