Cullman man charged with trafficking meth

CULLMAN, Ala – A Cullman man has been charged with trafficking methamphetamine according to the Cullman Police Department (CPD).

The CPD said Officer AJ White conducted a traffic stop along Rosemont Avenue Southwest, during which the driver of the vehicle quickly turned into a residential driveway and fled the vehicle on foot. White pursued the driver and detained him after a brief foot chase. The driver, David Jeffery Miller, 38, was allegedly found to be in the possession of a large quantity of methamphetamine, as well as marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Miller was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and attempting to elude.

The CPD said Miller was out on diversion at the time of his arrest. 

He is being held in the Cullman County Detention Center.
