Brenda Faye Kerns Phillips of Cullman passed away March 1, 2021 at the age of 74. She was born in McCall, South Carolina Feb. 23, 1947 to Newty and Lillie Mae Chavis Kerns.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Curtis Lee Phillips, Jr.; and siblings Virginia Grooms, Jesse Lee Kerns, Bobby Kerns, Eugene Kerns, and Roy Earl Kerns; as well as Mary Lillie Kerns.
Mrs. Phillips was a retired caregiver.
Funeral services will be Thursday March 4, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Moss Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Whitley officiating. Interment will follow services in Cullman City Cemetery.
Survivors are daughters Kimberly (Donald) Cheek of McCall, SC, Daphne (George) Bacon of Winterville, NC., Bobby (Tammy) Phillips of Madison, AL, and Bonnie (Michael) Phillips of Cullman, Alabama; sister Linda (Dennis) Armstrong of Pocatello, Idaho; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her beloved Maltese Dusty; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Thursday from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m.
