Funeral services for Elvie Ophelia Freeman, 94, of Cullman, Alabama will be 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, 2021 at the Cullman Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. prior to the service. The interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Crane Hill community.
Mrs. Freeman passed from this life Feb. 14, 2021 at The Folsom Center in Cullman. She was born May 22, 1926 to Thomas Joseph and Elsie Lee Eddy Thompson.

Mrs. Freeman was preceded in death by her parents; husband Herman B. Freeman; son Derrell Freeman; sisters Mildred Turner, Bernice Woods, Hilda Campbell, and Faye Nazzaro; and brothers Curtis Thompson, Art Thompson, Kent Thompson.
She is survived by her sons Charles (Stephanie) Freeman, Terry (Vickie)Freeman, and Anthony (Traci) Freeman; brother Brent (Mary) Thompson; sisters Stella Freeman and Marie (Mark) Saint; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends.
