A private family service will be held Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021 for our precious mama, sister, and friend Mary Frances Ballard Creel, 84, of Hanceville. Her nephews Chris Barnett and Jon Creel will be officiating, with interment at Bethlehem East Cemetery.
Mrs. Creel passed away Friday, Feb. 12 at Monarch Place, Hanceville, her home of six years. She was born Aug. 15, 1936 to Wilson and Sula Ballard of Hanceville.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband of 61 years, Leo Creel.
She is survived by children Barry Blackburn-Creel of Dallas, TX and Amy (Rex) Smith of Cullman; grandchildren Mary Claire and Ben Smith; sister Connie (Fred) Barnett of Hanceville; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

The family would like to thank the devoted staff at Monarch Place for the wonderful care she has received over the years. Going above and beyond to be sure she was not only taken care of, but loved.
