Funeral services for Helen Ruth Summers, 71, of Cullman, Alabama will be Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow the service at Good Hope Cemetery. Rev. Tom Purdue will officiate the service.

Mrs. Summers passed from this life Feb. 11, 2021 at Princeton Hospital in Birmingham. She was born Sept. 11, 1949 to Marion Thomas and Susie Lula Owen Jackson. She was an active member of Living Faith Baptist Church. Mrs. Summers was an RN with a bachelor’s degree in Georgia.
Mrs. Summers was preceded in death by her parents Marion Thomas and Susie Lula Owen Jackson; husband Arthur Loyd Summers; brothers Paul Jackson and Billy Jackson; and sister Martha Rutland.
She is survived by her sons Allen (Pamela) Summers and Thomas Van (Amanda) Little; daughter Lana Sue (Joey) Little; brother Buddy Jackson; sisters Lula Rice and Tammie Sue Jackson; and grandchildren Titus Paul Summers, Jacqueline Noel Summers, Samuel Summers, Susie Summers, Anna Little, and Laura Little.
