Johnnie Mack Parker, 79, died Feb. 2, 2021 while residing in an assisted living facility in Birmingham, Alabama, where he resided the past four years.
He was born Sept. 11, 1941 in Cullman, Alabama to William Levis Parker and Vera Kelley Parker.
Johnnie Mack graduated from Good Hope High School in 1959 and began working toward his goal as a contractor. He was drafted into the Army, serving in the Vietnam War, from 1968-1972.
His interests included watching “the Tide Roll” by cheering on his favorite football team, the Alabama
Crimson Tide, and spending time with family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his sister Nancy Cartwright (Eric); sons Timothy Parker (Meggie) and Mack Parker (Gina); and five grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Jenny Parker.
Per Mr. Parker’s request, there will not be a service open to the public.
