Funeral services for Shelby Jean White of Hanceville, who passed away Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021 at the age of 74, will be at Shelton Grove Baptist Church Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2021 at noon. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Visitation will be at 11 a.m. until service time. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, masks will be required, and social distancing appreciated.

Shelby was born in Cullman to Alvin Bertis and Rutha Cone Shelton May 12, 1946. She enjoyed crafting, feeding and watching birds, and cooking.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Roderick Nolan White; and son Bertis White.
Survivors include her daughter Rhonda White (Phil) Phillips; sister Tammie Bailey; brothers Laron (Nadine) Shelton and J.V. (Myrt) Shelton; 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
