A Celebration of Life Service for Sylvia Lee Odom, who passed away Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2021 at the age of 60, will be in the chapel of Moss Service Funeral Home Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2021 at 6 p.m. Visitation will be from 4:30-6 p.m. Moss Service Funeral Home directing. The service will be available via live stream on Moss Service Funeral Home’s Facebook page.
Sylvia was a wonderful caregiver to all who needed her. She loved children and all animals. She served as the Sacristan at Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church and was a member of the St. Kateri Circle. She loved her Pow-Wows and was known as being a “firecracker.”
She was preceded in death by her mother Cleo Mildred Weisner; brothers Rick and Dennis Odom; sister and brother-in-law Sandy and Perry Odom; son Benjamin Odom; and husband Terry Jackson.
Her survivors include her children Monica Burden, Melissa Mack, Mason Mack, and Daniel Landers; grandchildren Cleo Adalynn, William Braxton, Lincoln Jaxon, Tucker Lamar, and Vayda-Gray Ivy; the father of her children Ted Mack, and special nieces and nephews Oliver Shaw, Wendy and Nyah Shaw, Richie Aker, Ricky Odom, Christopher Sylvie Odom, and Willie Odom.
