Graveside services for Dudley Lee Latta of Hanceville will be Thursday, Jan. 28, 2021 at Holly Pond Cemetery. Reverend John McKoy will be officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service at Hanceville Funeral Home beginning at 10 a.m.
Mr. Latta was born to Julius and Allene (Watts) Latta Nov. 10, 1935 in Cullman County, Alabama. He died at the age of 85 at his residence Jan. 24, 2021.
Survivors include his wife Juanita Latta; children Sharon Gobble, Karen (Scotty) Burgett, Linda (Daryl) Fox, and Earl Latta; grandchildren Corey Gobble, Matthew Gobble, Dylan (Emily) Burgett, Sean (Miyo) Nowak, Sarah Fox, Eli Latta, and Elyssa Latta; great-grandchildren Raylan Gobble and Olivia Gobble; sister Mary Nell Kelso; Judy Latta; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents Mr. Latta was preceded in death by his sister Geraldine Latta and his brother and sister-in-law Robert and Francis Latta.
