Graveside services for Freda Gwendolyn Galbreath, who passed away Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2021 at the age of 86, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021 at New Mt. Zion Cemetery. Moss Service Funeral Home directing.
Freda was born Feb. 7, 1934 to J.W. and Lela Morton. She attended and graduated from Meek High School and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Helicon.
She loved working in her flower garden and was known for having a green thumb. She also enjoyed beautiful hummingbirds.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Howard Vernon Galbreath and sister Hildridge (Herbert) James.
Her survivors include her children Beverly (Richard) Meng, James Galbreath, and William (Brooke) Galbreath; grandchildren Jennifer, Katherine, and Madison; and four great-grandchildren.
