GOOD HOPE, Ala. – A Cullman was killed in a two-vehicle crash along County Road 437 on the Interstate 65 overpass in Good Hope Wednesday night.
Cullman County Coroner Jeremy L. Kilpatrick confirmed the fatality, identifying the victim as Michael Thomas Ashley, 43. He said Ashley was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash happened at approximately 11 p.m. Alabama State Troopers said Ashley was fatally injured when the 2020 Kawasaki Ninja he was operating was struck by a 2011 Nissan Xterra.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
