Douglas Dale Roden, 74, of Arley entered into rest Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2020 at his residence.
Mr. Roden was born Sept. 15, 1946 in Haleyville, Alabama.
He loved his family and his life revolved around his children and grandchildren. He also loved golfing, fishing and Alabama football.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Douglas is survived by his sons Doug Roden and Pat (Tonya) Roden; daughter Amy (Dawn) Hendricks; grandchildren Lexie, Trey, Courtney, Elle, Emmah and Madison; great-grandchildren Kailee Grace and Hudson; sister Shelby Jean (J.B.) Parker; the mother of his children, Emily Roden; and two granddogs Kimber and Sophie.
He was preceded in death by his parents Richard J. and Hazel Loraine Roden; father and mother-in-law Luck and Geraldine Giddy; and nephews Steve Parker, Keith Parker and Tim Parker.
