Private funeral services for Freda James Swann, 78, of Somerville will be Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2020 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Hollis Gardner, Glendal Bridgmon, and Steve Taylor officiating; burial at Ryans Creek Cemetery.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Swann passed away Thursday, Dec. 24, 2020 at Dekalb Regional Medical Center. She was born Feb. 15, 1942 in Cullman, AL to Oliver and Myrtle James.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Carroll Swann; sisters Betty Robert Robinson, Obera Mostey, and Othera Thornton.
Survivors include her daughter Ronda (Scott) Johnson; grandson Travis Connor Johnson; sisters Shirley (Thomas) Baker, Joyce Ragsdale, Ruth Hogue, and Lou Thomas; and brother Rayburn James.
