Jimmy J.H. “Rattler” Maze, 79, of Addison entered into rest Thursday, Dec. 17, 2020 at Cullman Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Maze was born June 14, 1941 in Sardis, Alabama. J.H. loved his family, especially his grandkids, and loved his horses. He was a member of Arley First Congregational Church.
Visitation will be held Monday, Dec. 21, 2020 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, where the service will begin at 1 p.m. Brother Samuel Tucker and Brother Mackey Watts will officiate. Burial will follow in Sardis #2 Baptist Church Cemetery.
Jimmy is survived by his wife of 59 ½ years, Marie Maze; daughters Sheila (Charlie) Talley, Vickie Maze and Lisa (Brad) Voegele; grandchildren Courtney Hayes, Tiffany (Allen) Partain, Brittany Beam, Garrett (Savannah) Wood and Bryant Wood; nine great-grandchildren; sisters Louise Wright and Ellouise (Manley) Carrell; and host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Lottie Maze; sons Rickey Maze and Mickey Maze; granddaughters Megan Maze and Crystal Maze; and brother Cotton Maze.
