GOOD HOPE, Ala. – Jason Grimmett, chairman of the Cullman County Industrial Development Authority Board, on Friday presented Good Hope Mayor Jerry Bartlett a check for $20,000 on behalf of the Authority.

According to Cullman County Economic Development Director Bradley Williams, the money will help the City of Good Hope with the match portion of a grant it received to expand its sewer system to AGCOR Steel.

AGCOR made an overall capital investment of $6.3 million in a new 128,000-square-foot facility in Good Hope in 2018-2019. It also announced a $2.3 million expansion project in July 2020 that will help create more jobs.
