A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020 at 10 a.m. for William Charles Roberson, Sr., who passed away Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2020. The visitation will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church with a Rosary Service beginning at 7:30 p.m. The Mass and Rosary will be available via Facebook live stream on Sacred Heart Church’s Facebook page. Moss Service Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Roberson will be remembered as a man of great faith; he was a member and Deacon of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He ministered by visiting the shut-ins and elderly. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mr. Roberson was an English teacher at Cullman Middle School until retirement.
He was preceded in death by his parents Robert Carlos and Sophia Catherine Stauch Roberson; brothers Bobby Roberson and Jimmy Roberson; sister Mary Camp; and great-grandson Tucker Evans.
Survivors include his wife Sybil Juanita Jordan Roberson; daughters Penny Evans, Cynthia (Kenny) Tubbs and Claudia Frye; sons William (Kim) Roberson, Jr. and Brian (Felicia) Roberson, Sr.; 18 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
