William Floyd “W.F.” Bailey II, 77, of Double Springs entered into rest Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2020 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 14, 1943. W.F. was born and raised in Double Springs and was very fond of his hometown. Kindhearted and a loyal friend, he was well liked by everyone who knew him. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening and spent a lot of time in the woods. He was very big on family and was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Graveside services will be Friday, Dec. 4, 2020 at 1pm at Double Springs Memorial Cemetery. Brother Shawn Blanton will officiate.
W.F. is survived by his wife of 54 years, Delores Ann Street Bailey; daughter Elizabeth Bailey Rogers; son William “Bill” Bailey III; granddaughters Krista Suzanne Rogers and Aubree Elizabeth Bailey; grandson Jarett Chance Bailey; great-grandson Hunter Kole Patterson; son-in-law Steve D. Rogers; sister Joan Bailey Franks; and brother Robert F. Bailey.
He was preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Alice Hood Bailey; his son William Anthony Bailey; and sisters Betty Bailey Pollard and Shirley Bailey Gilbreath.
