Graveside services for Mary Isabell Bookout, of Bremen, who passed away Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2020 at the age of 70, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020 at Kinney Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, the family requests that everyone participate in social distancing and masks are required. Moss Service Funeral Home directing.
A private family funeral service will be available via live streaming on Moss Service Funeral Home’s Facebook page beginning at 1 p.m.
Mary was a member of Kinney Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She loved watching and participating in sports. She was an excellent softball player and supported her granddaughters in every sport they played. She was a huge Alabama Football fan and rarely missed watching a game.
She was preceded in death by her parents James William Harbison, Sr. and Ellen Keegan Harbison; husband Glenn Bookout; brother-in-law Raymond Campbell; and sister-in-law Ella Mae Sanders.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Kim Bookout; son Chris (Carrie) Bookout; granddaughters Alana (Miles) Hutcherson, Loren (Jordan) Lee, Keegan Johnson, Allison Bookout, Kelsey (Austin) Meggison and Kasey Johnson (Casey Gibson); great-grandchildren Mila Meggison and Caroline Gibson; sisters Martha (Kermit) Kilgo and Wynona Campbell; brothers Jim (Peggy) Harbison, Charles (Rita) Harbison, and Stewart Sanders; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
