Glenn Lee Perry, 86, of Addison entered into rest Thursday, Nov. 26, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Glenn was born April 29, 1934 in Cullman to John and Ruby Perry. He proudly served in the United States Army for two years. Glenn was a member of the Addison Town Council for 14 years, a charter member of the Addison Rescue Squad, and a member of the Addison Volunteer Fire Department. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and an overall good man. Throughout his sickness, he fought the good fight and kept the faith.
A graveside service will be held Monday, Nov. 30, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery, Addison. Brother Tim Box will officiate.
Glenn is survived by his wife of 59 years, Betty Perry; sons Brian Perry and his wife Jill and Brandon Perry and Chastity; daughters Diane Hadley and her husband Brad and Glenda Carpenter and her husband Michael; grandchildren Nathan Hadley, Seth (Katty) Hadley, Lexi (Taylor) Cheatham, Kinsie (Woody) Lassauw, Brett Perry, and Aaron Perry; great-granddaughter Jude Hadley; and a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father John and Ruby Perry; mother and father-in-law Tom and Ezella Darnell; son-in-law Doyce Hill; six brothers; and two sisters.
