CULLMAN, Ala. – Cullman Regional on Tuesday reported 52 patients currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Ten of those patients are reported to be on ventilators. Monday, the hospital reported 45 patients. Cullman Regional has reported 51 deaths to the Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH). Of those 51 patients, 40 were residents of Cullman County.
The hospital said 50% of those hospitalized at Cullman Regional are COVID patients.
Countywide, according to the ADPH, 64 new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours, with 3,129 cases confirmed across the county since the beginning of the pandemic. Of those, 892 were confirmed in just the last 14 days.
Statewide, the ADPH reported 1,961 new confirmed cases Monday, with 30,785 in the last 14 days.
It also reported a total of 1,428 patients currently hospitalized across the state.
