CULLMAN, Ala. – Cullman Regional on Monday, Nov. 23 reported 45 patients currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Ten of those patients are reported to be on ventilators. Hospitalizations are down from Nov. 18’s record high of 54; however, as of Nov. 18, Cullman Regional had reported 40 deaths to the Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH). In the last five days, that number jumped to 51. Of those 51 patients, 40 were residents of Cullman County.
Countywide, according to the ADPH, 16 new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours, with 3,065 cases confirmed across the county since the beginning of the pandemic. Of those, 893 were confirmed in just the last 14 days.
Statewide, the ADPH reported 1,302 new confirmed cases Monday, with 29,838 in the last 14 days.
It also reported a total of 1,427 patients currently hospitalized across the state.
