Sandra June Edge, 79, of Cullman, Alabama passed away Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020. Sandra was born Oct. 15, 1941 to James F. and Thursa Miller Ratliff.
She was preceded in death by daughter Cindy Edge Lee and parents.
Visitation for Sandra will be held Monday, Nov. 23, 2020 from 6-9 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home. A lie in state will occur Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2020 from 1-2 p.m. at Cullman First Baptist Church with a celebration of life funeral service follow at 2 p.m. Pastor Tom Richter and Dr. Edwin Hayes will officiate the service and interment will follow at Cullman City Cemetery.
Mrs. Edge was a longtime member of Cullman First Baptist Church. She worked in the family business, Cullman Cabinet, in the office and the “Add a Touch” showroom until retiring. Sandra enjoyed gardening, interior design, cultivating Japanese maples, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Sandra is survived by her husband of 61 years, James E. Edge; daughter Jamie E. Nelson; son J. Robert Edge; sister Margo Messersmith; brother Jackie Ratliff (Ann); brother Dennis Ratliff; grandsons Chad Nelson (Meghan), Patrick Nelson, Brandon Lee (Bethany), Justin Lee, Tyler Edge, Nathan Edge and Oliver Edge; granddaughter Annalee Edge; and great-grandchildren River and Rhys Nelson and Emilee and Ethan Lee.
Serving as pallbearers are Chad Nelson, Brandon Lee, Patrick Nelson, Justin Lee, Tyler Edge, Nathan Edge, and Oliver Edge.
