Funeral services for Dorothy Jean Byrd, 83, of Cullman will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, 2020 at Destiny Church with Pastor Fred Rivers officiating; interment in Cullman Heritage Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11a.m.-1 p.m. prior to the service.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Byrd passed away Thursday, Nov. 12, 2020 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born March 31, 1937 to Monroe and Louise Moon.
She was preceded in death by her husband Vernon Byrd; daughter Amy Byrd; parents; and sister Daisy York.
Survivors include her son Tim (Sandy) Byrd; daughter Cindee (Kevin) Wasilewski; grandchildren Amiranda (Greg) Earnest, Cedrick Byrd, Seth (Layla) Wasilewski, Spencer Byrd, Levi Wasilewski, and Brilee (Alex) Smith; great-grandchildren Rowen Wasilewski, Tucker Williams, Jacob Earnest, Trentley Vincent, Ella Wasilewski, Jack Earnest, Rosealee Byrd, and Kyde Byrd; brothers Reedus (Bobbie) Moon, Ted (Nancy) Moon, Danny (Becky) Moon, and Ricky (Shelia) Moon; sisters Marlene (Harry) Waller, Carolyn Ashby, and Sandra (Terry) Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Pallbearers are Cedrick Byrd, Allen Gordon, Seth Wasilewski, Spencer Byrd, Alex Smith, Levi Wasilewski, and honorary pallbearer Greg Earnest.
