Mr. Edward Cleo “Pat” Patterson of Cullman passed away Nov. 8, 2020 at the age of 80. He was born Jan. 26, 1940 in Cullman to Luther C. and Mary Stevens Patterson.
He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter Leah Patterson Lust; sister Patsy Ellard; and brothers John Herbert Patterson, Hobert Patterson, and Clyde Patterson.
Mr. Patterson was a lifelong member of Jones Chapel United Methodist Church and most recently a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church. He worked for and retired from the State of Alabama DOT as a bridge inspector. He also worked for the Cullman County Sheriff’s Department part-time.
He was an avid University of Alabama football fan.
Funeral services are Friday, Nov. 13, 2020 at Moss Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. with Rev. Chuck Canterbury officiating. Interment will follow services in Cullman City Cemetery.
Survivors are wife Carol Patterson; son Eddie (Mary) Patterson; sister Velma “Pat” Thomason; and grandchildren Mary Kathryn (Andy) Colbert and Sarah Elizabeth (Conner) Thigpen.
Visitation is Friday, Nov. 13, 2020 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Moss Funeral Home.
