CULLMAN, Ala. – An early morning fire had Cullman Fire and Rescue on the move to the east side of Cullman Saturday

“The call came in it at 6:17 a.m.,” said Cullman Fire Rescue Division Chief of Operations Darren Peeples. “There were no injures.”

According to Peeples, while there were no physical injuries to those inside the home, located at 623 Alabama Ave. SE, there was damage to the structure.

“(It) appears to have started as an electrical fire in the bathroom,” he said. “The bathroom and two other rooms were damaged in the fire.”
