PREP SWIMMING: CHS Swim Team competes at Albertville Invitational

ALBERTVILLE, Ala. – Cullman High School’s swim team was in action at the Sand Mountain Recreation Center last weekend to compete in this year’s Albertville Invitational and the Lady Bearcats took home a second-place finish. The girls finished just being Bob Jones to finish as the runners up and the boys placed fifth at this year’s event. The CHS Swim Team will be back in Albertville Saturday, Nov. 7 to compete at the North Alabama Championship.

CHS top finishers:

Madison Clements – 1st place 100-yard backstroke, 1st place 500-yard freestyle (school record – 5:35)

Reese McNeel – 2nd place 100-yard butterfly

CJ Arnold – 2nd place 100-yard freestyle, 2nd place 100-yard backstroke

Ruby Hudson – 3rd place 200-yard individual medley Morgan Fuller, Ruby Hudson, Reese McNeel, Madison Clements – 2nd place 200-yard medley relay, 2nd place 400-yard freestyle relay
