Memorial services for Richard Maurice Hudson, Jr., 47, of Cullman will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, 2020 at Richard’s residence, 3330 County Road 940, Cullman, AL 35057. There will be a gathering for friends and family at 12:45 p.m. at the Community Chapel, 101 County Road 1082, Cullman, AL 35057 (The old Jones Chapel United Methodist Church).
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
He passed away Sunday, Nov. 1, 2020 at his residence. He was born Dec. 17, 1972 to Richard Hudson, Sr. and Carolyn Davis Hudson. Richard served his county in the United States Air Force. We thank God for the years we were able to spend with Richard and are thankful he was a Christian. He was a great help to the community and neighbors and was his mother’s caregiver for many years.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his mother Carolyn Hudson; brothers Joe Hudson, Dillard (Renee) Hudson, and Willard Hudson; sisters Abby (Jimmy) Campbell and Laura Marion; five nieces and nephews; five great-nieces and great-nephews; and his beloved dog; Facebook friend Maggie; and a host of family and friends.
