Johnnie Anthony Cavender, 59, of Haleyville passed away Sunday, Oct. 4, 2020 in Florence, Alabama. Johnnie was born Dec. 31, 1960.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2020 at Living Faith Pentecostal Church of God in Haleyville from noon-2 p.m. where the service will begin at 2 p.m. Brother Joseph Desiderio will officiate. Pallbearers will include Dustin Gates, Isaiah Desiderio, Timothy Barnett, Kamen Fletcher, Jeremiah Desiderio, and George Moyers. Honoree pallbearers will include Joe Burleson and Randy Butler.
Johnnie is survived by his wife Tammy Cabender; son Andy (Sarah) Cavender; daughter Somer (Kevin) Waldrep; mother Bonnie Cavender; brother Kurt Cavender; seven grandkids Kayla, Jessica, James, and Christian Waldrep, and John, Kelton, and Colton Cavender; father-in-law LJ Barnett; brothers-in-law Jacky Barnett and Keith Barnett; and a host of nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his dad Johnie Mac Cavender; grandparents John William and Margie Cavender and Hubert and Alene Whitfield; Uncle Gerald and Bobby Joe Whitfield; and mother-in-law, Carolyn Barnett.
